Parkview Christian Patriots (Lincoln, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Sioux City Cardinals (South Sioux City, NE), 70-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkview Christian upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Patriots travel to Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Johnson-Brock won 71-24 in their recent non-league bout against Sterling (Sterling, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. South Sioux City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 69-41 league win over Sioux City West (Sioux City, IA).
