The Pittsburg Pirates basketball squad scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Rivercrest Rebels to 37 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Pittsburg upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Pirates host Winnsboro (Winnsboro, TX) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-1. Winnsboro won 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Gladewater (Gladewater, TX)

Next up, the Rebels play the Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Rivercrest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Rabbits come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 56-44 league win over Redwater (Redwater, TX).
