The Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team (Saginaw, MI), was nudged 47-43 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Reese Rockets (Reese, MI)

The Rockets now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 28. Reese will confront a Panthers team coming off a 76-58 non-league loss to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.

The Chargers (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI). The Panthers come into the Tri-Valley - Blue battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Nouvel Catholic Central edged Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI), 66-37, in a non-league battle.
