Virginia High School Basketball - Wilson Memorial tops The Covenant

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) and the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), saw Wilson Memorial's basketball squad knock off The Covenant by a count of 68-57.

With the victory, Wilson Memorial upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Green Hornets host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Turner Ashby won 48-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Strasburg (Strasburg, VA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) in a Virginia Independent challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. The Covenant will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
