In Thursday's non-league outing, the Sulphur Golden Tors (Sulphur, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles (Youngsville, LA), by a margin of 44-6.
The Golden Tors (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Arthur (Lake Arthur, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, Lake Arthur overwhelmed North Vermilion (Maurice, LA), 51-35, in a non-league bout.
Next up, the Eagles play the Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Friday, December 22. Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
