Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Milford Eagles (Milford, NE), 59-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Aurora upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Huskies host St. Paul (St. Paul, NE) to clash with the Wildcats in a C1 District 9 bout on Thursday, January 4. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Nebraska Christian Eagles (Central City, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 58-46 non-league win over St. Francis (Humphrey, NE).
