    The New London Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Buckeye Central Bucks to 29 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Wildcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestview for a Firelands contest on Saturday, December 23. New London will meet a Cougars team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Monroeville (Monroeville, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 1-6.

    The Bucks (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca East (Attica, OH). The Tigers enter the Northern 10 contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Seneca East was routed by Arcadia (Arcadia, OH), 47-38, in a non-league contest.
