The East Allegheny Wild Cats basketball team (North Versailles, PA), was overwhelmed 70-8 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Clairton Bears (Clairton, PA)
The Bears now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Steel Valley for a WPIAL 2A 3 battle on Wednesday, January 3. Clairton will battle a Ironmen team coming off a 95-23 league loss to Serra Catholic (McKeesport, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 1-3.
The Wild Cats (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA). The Rebels come into the WPIAL 3A 2 battle with a 5-2 record.
