The Forest City Indians routed the visiting Clear Lake Lions basketball team by a final score of 72-33 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. Forest City will attempt to move on its 11-0 season record. The Golden Bears enter the game with a 10-1 record after their 71-41 non-league win over North Iowa (Buffalo Center, IA).
With the defeat, Clear Lake moves to 5-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA) to face the Cadets in a North Central game on Friday, January 5. The Cadets enter the game with a record of 3-6.
