The Clinton Maroons basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Tri-Valley Vikings to 48 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Maroons now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neoga for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Clinton will meet a Indians team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Newton (Newton, IL). The Indians record now stands at 9-3.
The Vikings (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Tuscola ran past Salt Fork (Sidell, IL), 54-31, in a non-league contest.
