Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Democracy Prep Agassi Campus Blue Knights (Las Vegas, NV) and the visiting Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA), saw Democracy Prep Agassi Campus's basketball squad knock off Mercer Island by a tally of 57-44.

With the victory, Democracy Prep Agassi Campus improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Blue Knights travel to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Aggies in a 5A Southern challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Arbor View lost 52-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Islanders play the Lake Washington Kangaroos (Kirkland, WA) in a 3A KingCo challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Mercer Island will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record.
