The Middletown Blue Raiders (Middletown, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Eastern Lebanon County Raiders (Myerstown, PA), 49-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Blue Raiders (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Steelton-Highspire (Steelton, PA). The Steamrollers go into the Mid-Penn - Capital test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Steelton-Highspire was tipped by Camp Hill (Camp Hill, PA), 51-34, in a league test.

The Raiders now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northern Lebanon for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Eastern Lebanon County will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 45-23 non-league win over Susquenita (Duncannon, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 5-0.
