George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), 44-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, George Walton Academy upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Friday, December 22. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 7-5. East Forsyth won 59-41 in their recent non-league bout against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Oconee County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 49-33 non-league loss to Westlake (Atlanta, GA).
