Iowa High School Basketball - GMG knocked off by Madrid

The Madrid Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting GMG Wolverines to 36 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Guthrie Center for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.

The Wolverines (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Raiders enter the Iowa Star contest with a 5-4 record.
