The Nixa Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Grain Valley Eagles to 58 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lebanon for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Nixa will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 55-28 non-league loss to Branson (Branson, MO). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-6.
The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Waynesville (Waynesville, MO). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Waynesville ran past Joplin (Joplin, MO), 68-45, in a non-league contest.
