Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) and the visiting South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV), saw Greenbrier East's basketball squad wallop South Charleston by a count of 73-27.

With the victory, Greenbrier East upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Spartans host Grafton (Grafton, WV) to play the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.

Next up, the Black Eagles play the Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. South Charleston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
