Nebraska High School Basketball - Perkins County overwhelms Hyannis

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) and the visiting Hyannis Longhorns (Hyannis, NE), saw Perkins County's basketball squad wallop Hyannis by a tally of 60-27.

With the victory, Perkins County improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Plainsmen host Leyton (Dalton, NE) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 7-0. Leyton won 48-31 in their recent non-league test against Arthur County (Arthur, NE)

The Longhorns now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Morrill for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Hyannis will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 61-8 non-league win over Banner County (Harrisburg, NE). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.
