The J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), 52-45 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record.
The Royals now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Meadowbrook for a Central test on Tuesday, January 9. Prince George will encounter a Monarchs squad coming off a 77-12 league loss to Thomas Dale (Chester, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-7.
