The Montverde Academy Eagles routed the visiting Lone Peak Knights basketball team by a final score of 63-39 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the East Nashville Magnet Eagles (Nashville, TN) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. Montverde Academy will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record.

With the defeat, Lone Peak moves to 5-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to face the Vikings in a 6A Region 3 game on Friday, January 12. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 8-2.
