Loudonville Redbirds (Loudonville, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lucas Cubs (Lucas, OH), 78-5 in a league bout.

With the win, Loudonville upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Redbirds travel to Alliance (Alliance, OH) to clash with the Aviators in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 23. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Alliance lost 61-46 in their recent non-league bout against Washington (Massillon, OH)

Next up, the Cubs clash with the Mansfield Christian Flames (Mansfield, OH) in a Mid-Buckeye bout, on Saturday, January 6. Lucas will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
