    • Texas High School Basketball - Post overwhelmed by Lovington

    December 21, 2023: Post, TX 79356

    The Lovington Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Post Antelopes to 17 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Thursday.

    The Wildcats now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alamogordo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Lovington will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-24 non-league loss to Hobbs (Hobbs, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.

    The Antelopes (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 1-6 record.
