Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wakefield Trojans (Wakefield, NE) and the host Lutheran-Northeast Eagles (Norfolk, NE), saw Wakefield's basketball squad wallop Lutheran-Northeast by a tally of 68-42.
With the victory, Wakefield improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Woodbury Central (Moville, IA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 4. Lutheran-Northeast will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 37-22 non-league win over Boyd County (Spencer, NE).
