Kentucky High School Basketball - Overton ripped by Metcalfe County

The Metcalfe County Hornets basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Overton Bobcats to 34 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Metcalfe County will meet a Flyers team coming off a 52-49 non-league loss to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Flyers record now stands at 5-4.

The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN). The Raptors enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Ravenwood was routed by Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN), 71-44, in a non-league contest.
