Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the New Salem Holsteins (New Salem, ND) and the visiting Richardton-Taylor Raiders (Richardton, ND), saw New Salem's basketball team get by Richardton-Taylor by a score of 38-37.
The Holsteins now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] for a B District 6 contest on Thursday, January 18.
The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND). The come into the non-league contest with a 1-7 record.
