North Carolina High School Basketball - Weddington nipped by West Charlotte

The West Charlotte Lions tipped the host Weddington Warriors basketball team by a final score of 53-50 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Lions face the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 22. West Charlotte will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 65-18 league win over West Davidson (Lexington, NC).

With the defeat, Weddington moves to 6-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to face the Pumas in a non-league game on Friday, December 22. The Pumas enter the game with a record of 4-6. Palisades lost 62-42 in their recent non-league game against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA)
