The Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 56-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Pumas (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Independence got by Garinger (Charlotte, NC), 42-37, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rocky River for a non-league test on Friday, December 22. Corvian Community will encounter a Ravens squad coming off a 53-31 non-league loss to Huss (Gastonia, NC). The Ravens record now stands at 2-7.
