The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the visiting The Covenant Eagles to 32 in the Green Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Green Hornets now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Page County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Wilson Memorial will battle a Panthers team coming off a 56-25 non-league win over Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
The Eagles (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Mavericks come into the contest with a 0-0 record.
