The American History Eagles (Newark, NJ) basketball were winner over the host Barringer Blue Bears (Newark, NJ), 63-53 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Arts for a non-league bout on Monday, December 23. American History will play a Jaguars team coming off a 41-30 non-league win over Brooklyn Collegiate (Brooklyn, NY). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Barringer falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue bears host Science Park (Newark, NJ) to play the Chargers in a Super Essex - Independence bout on Saturday, January 4. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Science Park lost 58-55 in their recent non-league bout against Weequahic (Newark, NJ)
