Ohio High School Basketball - Plymouth sneaks past Black River

The Plymouth Big Red (Plymouth, OH) basketball edged the visiting Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH), 55-49 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Big Red now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to New London for a Firelands bout on Friday, December 27. Plymouth will play a Wildcats team coming off a 65-41 league loss to St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Black River falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Northwestern (West Salem, OH) to play the Huskies in a non-league outing on Saturday, December 28. The Huskies enter the outing with a record of 0-6.
