The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) and the host Bullock County Hornets (Union Springs, AL), observed Carroll's basketball team overwhelm Bullock County by a score of 58-24.

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 6-8 record. In their last challenge, Wicksburg was routed by Straughn (Andalusia, AL), 54-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) in a 4A Area 4 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Bullock County will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
