The Lumpkin County Indians basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Copper Basin Cougars to 25 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Indians now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a AAA Region 6 game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Copper Basin falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Whitwell (Whitwell, TN) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Monday, January 6. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-4.
