Indiana High School Basketball - Eastern triumphant over Cowan

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Comets (Greentown, IN) and the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), observed Eastern's basketball team overwhelm Cowan by a margin of 69-42.

The Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Titans come into the Hoosier Heartland challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Taylor trounced Delphi Community (Delphi, IN), 61-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. Cowan will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Argylls come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 56-35 non-league loss to Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN).
