The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD) and the host Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), observed DeMatha's basketball team overwhelm Wesleyan Christian Academy by a margin of 85-52.
The Stags (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 11-2 record. In their last challenge, Our Lady of Mount Carmel was trounced by St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD), 74-64, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Wesleyan Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 71-58 non-league win over West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC).
