The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA) and the visiting Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA), observed Okoboji's basketball team overcome Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire by a margin of 73-54.

The Pioneers (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen come into the Siouxland challenge with a 5-1 record.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) in a Twin Lakes challenge, on Friday, January 3. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 44-37 non-league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA).
