The Ledyard Colonels basketball squad (Ledyard, CT), lost 71-63 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Grasso Tech Eagles (Groton, CT)

With the victory, Grasso Tech advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Eagles host Montville (Oakdale, CT) to meet the Wolves in a non-league battle on Monday, December 23. The Wolves enter the battle with a record of 1-0. Montville won 74-35 in their recent non-league battle against Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT)

The Colonels now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windham for a Eastern Connecticut I battle on Monday, December 30. Ledyard will meet a Whippets squad coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets record now stands at 0-2.
