In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hicksville Aces basketball team scored a big 58-37 triumph over the Holgate Tigers.
The Aces (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Edon (Edon, OH). The Bombers go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Edon smashed Eastside (Butler, IN), 64-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Liberty Center Tigers (Liberty Center, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Holgate will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 46-35 non-league loss to Tinora (Defiance, OH).
