Kentucky High School Basketball - Simon Kenton bested by Holy Cross

Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Simon Kenton Pioneers (Independence, KY), 59-48 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Holy Cross advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Indians host Conner (Hebron, KY) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 5-3.

The Pioneers now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northridge for a non-league match on Sunday, December 22. Simon Kenton will meet a Polar Bears squad coming off a 53-42 league win over Troy Christian (Troy, OH). The Polar Bears record now stands at 6-1.
