The Horace basketball team scored 77 points and limited the visiting Moorhead Spuds to 66 in the non-league triumph on Saturday.

The now have a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Sheyenne for a AA East game on Friday, January 3. Horace will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 79-55 non-league loss to Mandan (Mandan, ND). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Moorhead falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Spuds host Fargo North (Fargo, ND) to confront the Spartans in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 1-4. Fargo North lost 83-69 in their recent league game against Horace (Horace, ND)
