The Independence Blue Devils basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Wickliffe Blue Devils to 57 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the loss, Wickliffe falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Berkshire (Burton, OH) to confront the Badgers in a Chagrin Valley - Valley game on Friday, December 27. The Badgers go into the game with a record of 1-5. Berkshire lost 51-36 in their recent non-league game against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH)
