Georgia High School Basketball - Mary Persons triumphant over Lamar County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) and the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA), observed Mary Persons's basketball team overwhelm Lamar County by a score of 78-44.

The Bulldogs (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Macon, GA). The Chargers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Central was routed by Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA), 76-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Elite Scholars Academy Royal Knights (Jonesboro, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Lamar County will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 64-35 non-league loss to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA).
