Kentucky High School Basketball - Russell knocked off by Lawrence County

In Saturday's non-league test, the Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) basketball squad knocked off the host Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), by a score of 81-72.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 23. Lawrence County will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 0-4 record after their 72-44 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV).

The Red Devils (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Danville Christian Academy beat Oldham County (Buckner, KY), 72-58, in a non-league test.
