The Mt. Pleasant Oilers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Shepherd Bluejays to 38 in the Oilers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Oilers now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Lapeer East for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Shepherd falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Alma (Alma, MI) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 3-3. Alma lost 62-36 in their recent league game against Glenn (Bay City, MI)
