The Mt. Vernon Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Northridge Knights to 26 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-0 record. They play next when they host Washington for a non-league game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Northridge falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Lisle (Lisle, IL) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Lions go into the game with a record of 3-7. Lisle lost 55-48 in their recent league game against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL)
