In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball squad defeated the visiting New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD), by a score of 67-57.
Next, the Lions clash with the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Warriors (Lanham, MD) in a non-league test, on Sunday, December 22. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 74-72 non-league win over Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA).
The Tigers (7-9) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD). The Crusaders come into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, St. Paul's went down by Boys Latin (Baltimore, MD), 83-62, in a non-league test.
