The Norristown Eagles basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Upper Merion Area Vikings to 59 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Norristown will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 66-56 league win over Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Upper Merion Area falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA) to confront the Phantoms in a Pioneer - Frontier game on Thursday, January 2. The Phantoms go into the game with a record of 6-1.
