The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Victory Christian Vikings (Carmichael, CA) and the host San Juan Spartans (Citrus Heights, CA), observed Victory Christian's basketball team knock off San Juan by a score of 41-30.

The Vikings (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Futures (Sacramento, CA). The Knights come into the Central Valley California League challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Futures was knocked off by Wood (Vacaville, CA), 72-49, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Mesa Verde Mavericks (Citrus Heights, CA) in a Sierra Delta League challenge, on Friday, January 3. San Juan will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record.
