Alabama High School Basketball - Sparkman toppled by Selma

Selma Saints (Selma, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL), 63-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Selma upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Saints host Demopolis (Demopolis, AL) to face the Tigers in a 5A Area 5 match on Monday, December 30. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 2-10.

The Senators now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a non-league match on Thursday, December 26. Sparkman will face a Generals squad coming off a 70-53 non-league loss to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA). The Generals record now stands at 2-10.
