The Vernon Vikings basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Warren Hills Regional Blue Streaks to 55 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Morris Mendham for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Vernon will confront a Minutemen team coming off a 43-33 non-league win over Morristown (Morristown, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Warren Hills Regional falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Blue streaks host Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, NJ) to confront the Stateliners in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Stateliners go into the game with a record of 0-3. Phillipsburg lost 62-58 in their recent non-league game against Madison (Madison, NJ)
