The Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) basketball were winner over the host Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA), 50-34 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Carlmont for a bout on Thursday, January 9. Menlo-Atherton will play a Scots team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Scots record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Menlo School falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to play the Matadors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
