In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bernards Mountaineers basketball team scored a big 52-20 win over the Morristown-Beard Crimson.

The Mountaineers (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ). The Highlanders come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Governor Livingston was trounced by Mount St. Dominic Academy (Caldwell, NJ), 38-30, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crimson battle the Kennedy Memorial Mustangs (Iselin, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Morristown-Beard will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 52-24 non-league loss to Carteret (Carteret, NJ).
